A caution on vitamin E supplements

Before your rush out and begin high doses of vitamin E for your hair, beware—because vitamin E increases circulation and oxygen in the blood, it can cause  your blood to become thin and lead to clotting issues. The RDA is 15 to 19mg (22.5 to 28.5 IU)per day, depending on age and sex. Many users recommend between 400 and 800 IU per day to stimulate scalp health and hair growth, but as always, you’ll want to check with your doctor before starting on dietary supplements or diet plans.
